    Matthew has worked in the internet and software industry for over 20 years and has extensive experience building content, data and publishing-oriented digital businesses. Prior to founding PublishThis, Matthew served on the executive team at Edmunds.com, where as EVP, Media he led product development and content, helping grow the Edmunds.com website into the #1 automotive content resource on the web.

    Before that, Matthew helped develop and build The Studio System, the entertainment industry’s premier film and television database. Matthew started his career at Andersen Consulting and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas.

    Scott architected the PublishThis platform and is responsible for leading the company’s technology team. Before that Scott worked for Blue Nile, the web’s leading online jewelry eCommerce site, where he helped architect design and patent the company’s successful Diamond search.

    Before BlueNile, Scott was a lead architect for Edmunds.com where he led development of the company’s syndication platform and advertising inventory software system that was later sold to Doubleclick. Scott started his career as a Research Scientist for the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory specializing in BioInformatics as well as Large Information Display programs and developed multiple patents for the U.S. Department of Energy.

    Chris earned a Ph.D from the University of Colorado in Aerospace Engineering Sciences in 2007 and then went to work for the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, CA.

    While at JPL, he helped design and build a software package for precise orbit determination of the GPS constellation using the GIPSY GPS data processing software. He has been at PublishThis since 2010 and has been instrumental in building the backend database systems and processes.

Before joining PublishThis, Eric owned product strategy and management for Ebix’s CRM solution, in use by over 100,000 insurance agents and financial advisors. He led successful initiatives on user experience design, social media, Big Data, and mobile.

    Before that, Eric wrote and produced video games for Disney, including the multimillion-copy-selling Who Wants to Be a Millionaire series, Disney and ESPN trivia games, and creative products for adults and children. Eric began his career at various LA-based magazines and received a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Writing from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

  • Allen Morgan is an active, early-stage private investor and startup company advisor. His principal focus is on start-ups in the areas of internet-enabled businesses, consumer internet services (both consumer-facing and infrastructure), interactive entertainment, online advertising and digital media. In addition, he is also Managing Director, New Ventures Group, as well as a Board Member, at Idealab.

    From 1999 – 2010 he was a Managing Director at Mayfield Fund, where he is currently а Venture Partner.
